Moscow – Bar direct train service to start on June 19

Russian railways announced a train service between Moscow and Bar. The new direct rail link will operate from June 19 until September 18, reports Serbian news agency Tanjug.
According to the timetable, the train will depart from Moscow on Tuesdays at 10.13 pm and arrive in Bar on Fridays at 6.49 am. Departure from Bar will be on Fridays at 4 pm with arrivals in Moscow on Mondays at 9.56 am.
The timetable of the new service is designed in such a way as to minimise stops at stations where the carriage is rehitched from one train to another. The longest stop of about 4 hours is in Budapest, on the Bar to Moscow leg, but this allows passengers the chance to do some sightseeing in the city.
The journey will take nearly 62 hours, and a return ticket will cost EUR 310.40 (EUR 155.20 for one way ticket).
