Konstruktor to sign Bar-Boljari higway contract

The Croatian construction company Konstruktor Inzenjering announced the signing of a contract with the Podgorica government for the projection, construction, management and maintenance of the Bar-Boljari highway in Montenegro.
The new portion of the highway, which will connect the south of Montenegro (the Port of Bar) with the Serbian border, will be 188 kilometres long and have 42 tunnels and 92 bridges and viaducts.
Konstruktor has estimated that the project's total value might reach EUR 2.77 billion, of which EUR 1.74 billion should be insured by Montenegròs government in the thirty years concession contract.
Construction works are expected to begin within the next six months and finish in 2019.
