Pamela Anderson to build hotel in Montenegro
15.07.2009
Hollywood star Pamela Anderson arrived in Montenegro on Tuesday as a potential investor in a project to build ecologically friendly hotels.
"I’ve been trying to find appropriate partners and location to realize my dream – to build a hotel and spa based on ecological principles along with healthy food, good music, modern design and great fun," Anderson was quoted as saying on arrival.
Anderson also wrote on her website the first impressions she had upon arrival in Montenegro:
"Finally made it to Montenegro. Beautiful Country. Drive from airport to Budva…is amazing. Little villages, lots of fruit stands. Great beaches. I know I will create something special here. It feels good".
The former Baywatch star is expected to spend two days in Montenegro meeting the construction company Atlas Group, discussing the conditions under which she would invest her money in building the hotels.
It is thought that Anderson, who appeared in the 2006 hit comedy Borat, will also find some time to cruise the Adriatic on her 11-meter long yacht Dominator as well as visit former Yugoslav president Josip Tito’s villa in Meljine.
According to the Belgrade daily Blic, a team of 15 people will take care of Pamela’s security.
