Montenegro among top ten winter tourist locations for investment

British consultant Hot Property listed Montenegro among ten locations attractive for investments into winter tourism. Montenegro is known for its large port in Kotor which draws tourists during summer season, while the National Park Durmitor is appropriate for winter sports, writes Hot Property. Durmitor is also seen as ideal for rafting, walking and mountain biking, as well as all other summer mountain sports.
Hot Property predicts that interest in Montenegro will increase as cheaper air services from Britain are announced soon. Among five standard winter destinations listed by this company are – France, Bulgaria, Canada, Italy and the USA. Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine and Andorra might become attractive as winter tourist destinations in the future.
Chief Executive of the Association of International Property Professionals, Paul Owen, said that Montenegro, Malaysia and Brazil are among new countries attractive to investors. However, he believes real estates in countries such as France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the USA will remain to be desirable assets.
