Montenegro tourism on top

World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) published the results for 2008 and prognoses until 2018 for 176 countries in which tourism in a strategic branch of economy. In the past five years, Montenegro is one of the leading destinations in the sense of growth of the travel and tourism sector, which was confirmed in the report of the WTTC this year too.
According to the results, the tourism-generated economy in Montenegro can realise an increase rate of 17 per cent this year, which puts Montenegro in the 2nd position in the WTTC’s list of countries. According to the increase of employment in the tourism-generated economy, Montenegro is in the 3rd position.
