EBRD to finance Montenegrin railways infrastructure

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invited for tenders for the project of reconstructing the infrastructure of Montenegrin railways. The reconstruction will be financed by the EBRD’s loan in the value of EUR 17million.
The loan is a part of the second phase of reconstruction of the railway infrastructure which is planned for the period from 2007 to 2012, the total value of which is EUR 52 million. Beside EBRD, the investments will also be financed by the loans from the European Investment Bank and European Agency for Reconstruction. The total value of the railways’ property is EUR 334 million.
