EUR 500m invested in Montenegrin real estates

Foreign direct investments amounted to more than EUR 1billion last year, which is 56.4 per cent more than in 2006. The difference between the inflows and outflows of foreign investments in 2007 amounted to EUR 524.9 million and has increased by 12.5 per cent compared to 2006.
The biggest inflows are investments in real estate, as much as 51 per cent. 37.5 per cent of the total inflow of foreign investments was invested in domestic companies and banks, while the rest was realised in the form of inter-company debt. EUR 482.8 million was set aside for foreign direct investments last year. Three quarters of that concerned real estate.
