Prices of apartments in Montenegro stable
12.02.2008
The prices of flats in Podgorica will not grow, and the price of land should drop, the owner of the 14. septembar company Mehmed Kolarevic expects. The prices of flats in Montenegro have been stable over the past ten months, whereas the land has been overpriced, Kolarevic ads. Real estate trade in the Montenegrin capital Podgorica has been on the rise over the last few months.
The locations for the construction of the business and housing buildings are the most attractive at present. A square meter of space in the centre of the city is around EUR 2,000 – 2,500, while one has to pay as much as EUR 3,000 per square meter for a flat across Moraca river. According to Kolarevic, the basic problem of entrepreneurs in the building sector is the lack of qualified work force.
