Munk’s new goldmine in Tivat

London’s Economist writes that Peter Munk, the owner of the world’s biggest gold producer Barrick Gold, believes that he has found a new goldmine in the project of development of exclusive nautical-tourist centre in Montenegro.
Through his company Adriatic Marinas, Munk bought the military shipyard Arsenal in Tivat from the Government of Montenegro last year and is turning it into elite nautical and tourist centre and the leading marina for mega and super yachts in the Mediterranean called Porto Montenegro. This project is worth over EUR 600 million and is the biggest foreign greenfield investments in Montenegro so far.
